The European Regulation on Privacy – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – gives the User more control on its personal Data and transparency on their use.
RESTORE (www.restore-horizon.eu) wants to reassure that it takes its commitments to Data privacy seriously in order to ensure the compliance with the new regulation.
With the Support registration form procedure RESTORE collects:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Institution Name
- Institution Affiliation
- Position in the Institution
- Type of Institution
- Email address
These Data are strictly required for supporting RESTORE.
RESTORE will use User’s Data exclusively for RESTORE.
RESTORE handles User’s Data on electronic documents as well as on printed graphic material.
RESTORE will protect User’s Data with standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction.
RESTORE will not share User’s Data with any other organization except RESTORE partnership.
In any case, the Data sharing is never to be intended with profiling or marketing purposes.
Depending on the User’s location, Data transfers may involve transferring of them to a country other than their own. The transfer will be managed by web service.
Due to the nature of European Project events, User’s Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Furthermore, RESTORE may be obliged to retain User’s Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
In any moment User is entitled to view all its collected Data or request for amendment.
User has also the right to request partial or full deletion of its Data.

The information consists on Data reporting about how User uses the website, for instance which pages User visits most often, when downloads are performed or if error messages are generated by web pages.
