On June 15^th 2019, RESTORE participated in the “Smartest Night of the Year”, an event that invites visitors into scientific institutions, laboratories and libraries all across Berlin and Potsdam-Telegrafenberg, which are usually closed to the public. The direct encounter and interaction of citizens with scientists from natural sciences, engineering, social and cultural studies and medicine allows exciting insights into research subjects in the vivid atmosphere of a nightly event.

Advanced Therapies – Chances for clinical research and medical care throughout Europe is RESTOREs vision and passion. Professor Hans-Dieter Volk as the initiator and coordinator of RESTORE illustrated today’s modern approaches in the field of cell and gene therapy in a series of lectures followed by a Q&A. The talks were honored with great interest from national and international visitors, students and also patients.
